Deconfinement in France

DECONFINEMENT AFTER MAY 11th
The French Government have set out the major changes for deconfinement after 11th May, these are as follows:
French departments will be rated either green or red depending on how much the virus is active & the capacity of hospitals. Red departments will have stricter measures than green departments.
Wearing of masks is compulsory on public transport & recommended in shops, etc.
Shops will re-open but bars & restaurants will remain closed as well as cinemas, theatres & large museums.
Journeys of over 100 kms from home will only be allowed for urgent family or for professional reasons.
Beaches will remain closed but parks will re-open in ‘green’ departments.
People are allowed to exercise further than the present 1km limit.
Visits to friends & family are allowed but gatherings of more than 10 people are not allowed.
Note: Entry to France from the UK is still only allowed for essential travel at present
