Aire of the Year 2022

The French motorhome magazine ‘Camping-Car’ has voted the aire in Herteauville, Seine-Maritime (76) their ‘Aire of the Year’ for 2022 (pictured above). The aire is on the banks of the Seine, in the forest of Brotonne & run by a retired couple. The aire has regularly been included in our ‘Best Aires in France’ guides & below is the latest entry:

SITE DESCRIPTION The aire is in the large grounds of a private residence which is located on the banks of the Seine river where there are 20 individual, level spaces on gravel, accessed by a gravel track, separated by grass verges, lit but little shade. The aire is located at the northern end of the village in a secure, fenced & gated terrain. Artisanal service point with drainage platform.

REVIEW:

A very well maintained & equipped private aire in a large terrain on the side of the Seine, with 6 of the pitches having good views of the river. Quiet with nice owners, large 50m2 pitches bordered by grass, picnic tables all with 12 ehu’s. Bread available to order. Level walk into village but no shops or facilities. Tel/ Text: 0618912010
