DIRECTIONS: AIRE is located on D751, between Treves & Cunault, next to Loire.
SITE DESCRIPTION: This aire is situated between the hamlets of Cunault & Treves, next to the D751 road in a former campsite with mature trees providing some shade & lighting at night. There are 20 level spaces on grass overlooking the Loire, accessed by a gravel track. The Euro-Relais service point has a drainage platform & electric point. A pleasant aire with walks along the river, some road noise during day but quiet at night. Ground can be quite soft after rain. Aire is a bit remote with no facilities nearby but very tranquil, shops & eating places in Gennes – 3km away.

SITE DESCRIPTION This ‘Camping Village’ aire, run by CampingCarPark, is situated in the former municipal campsite ‘La Pree du Pave’, about 300m south of the village centre close to farmland. Pitches are on gravel/ grass (many shaded) each with 6A ehu & wifi with toilets (open 01/07-30/08). Artisanal service point with drainage platform. Access by automatic barrier, CCP card required. A nice semi-rural location yet close to the village centre & quiet with large pitches. Good toilets/ showers, cleaned daily but only open July & Aug, wifi very poor. Shops in village; boulangerie, grocer, & bar/ eating places. Several walking trails from village.

DIRECTIONS: From FRONCLES take D253 NORTH & turn RIGHT immediately before BRIDGE, continue 350m along single track lane to AIRE.
SITE DESCRIPTION An aire located on the side of the canal, next to a boat mooring area on the northern edge of Froncles, where there are spaces on tarmac backing onto grass areas & overlooking the canal – some shade & lit at night. The aire has separate ehu’s (2 posts with 4 sockets), toilets, showers, a laundry room as well as an artisanal service point with drainage platform.
A quiet, modern & well looked after aire next to the Marne canal. The aire has all the amenities, fees are payable at the Clevacances office (closes at 6pm). There are picnic tables, grass areas & a play area. The aire is about 600m from the town centre where there are shops; superette, boulangeries, tabac, newsagent, pharmacy, Poste, bank & restaurants.

SITE DESCRIPTION CampingCarPark run this ‘Camping Village’ aire, situated in the campsite ‘Les Anguilleuses’, west side of the village & next to a large lake & river. Pitches are on gravel (most shaded) separated by high hedges with 6A ehu & wifi accessed by a tarmac track with toilets/ shower/ sinks (open 01/05-30/09). Euro-Relais service point with drainage platform. Access by automatic barrier, CCP card required.
A pleasant location close to a large leisure lake, 200m from the village centre, quiet with large pitches/ picnic tables but only 19 ehu’s for the 25 pitches & sanitary block only open May till Sept. Restaurant next to camping, grocery shop in village & play area/ fishing adjacent plus cycle tracks.

SITE DESCRIPTION Situated in the former municipal Campsite, south of the town & on the banks of the Maine River, in a large tarmac & grass parking area, the individual spaces with ehu are well separated by grass with trees providing shade. WC’s & showers are available from 1/03 to 31/10. Previous winner of “Aire of the Year”.
A nice quiet place with a lovely walk along the river, also good for cyclists. The aire benefits from the facilities of the old campsite; wifi, electricity, showers, WC & washing up sinks. Shops are 10 mins walk away, boulanger calls in summer & there is a bus stop for Angers in front of the aire. No toilets, water or wifi in winter, aire is closed first weekend in September.

DIRECTIONS: At R/bout at village entrance on D16, turn WEST to LAKE & AIRE.
SITE DESCRIPTION This aire is located outside the municipal campsite, next to a large lake & about 500m west of the small village of Coucouron. Parking is on a large gravel parking area backing onto woodland, overlooking the lake with grass areas adjacent, some shade on one side of the area & lighting at night. There are toilets & a snack bar nearby & fishing is possible in the lake. Artisanal service point with drainage grid & ehu’s.
A lovely lakeside aire, very quiet parking (slight slope) with electric & walks around the lake (illuminated at night), swimming/ boating on the lake, with a small café (summer only) next to the beach (N. end of lake), showers are available in the adjacent camping. The aire is very popular in the summer but the municipal campsite next door is not much dearer (open 01/05 - 30/09). Parking is free when camping is closed but no services available. Shops in the quaint village include; boulangerie, butchers, 8-8 supemarket, bars & eating places with a market on Wed morning.

SITE DESCRIPTION: This ‘Camping Village’ aire, run by CampingCarPark, is situated in the former municipal campsite ‘La Bessiere’, about 400m south of the village centre & next to the river Sianne. Pitches are on gravel/ grass (most shaded), each has 6A ehu & wifi with toilets/ showers & sinks (open 15/05-15/09). Artisanal service point with drainage platform. Access by automatic barrier, CCP card required. A pleasant location next to the river, close to one of the ‘Most Beautiful Villages in France’ - quiet with play area, bbq’s & good shaded pitches but some low branches. Toilets cleaned regularly but only open May- Sept. Grocer, butchers & restaurant in village as well as a museum, impressive church & beautiful old houses.

DIRECTIONS: In AYDAT, AIRE is between the CHURCH & the LAKE.
SITE DESCRIPTION: This large well-appointed aire has spaces on grass accessed by a tarmac track – most pitches having shade, lighting & ehu’s, 100m from the village centre. This is a former Municipal campsite that has been converted into an aire for motorhomes, pay at the machine for entry via automatic barrier. Modern Artisanal service point with a large platform drain, toilets/ showers & sinks for washing up. This is a popular tourist area, especially with the French, so there are lots of activities on the Lac Aydat with plenty of eating-places around the lake (in season) & 20 mins drive to Puy de Dome. The aire is in a pleasant green location next to the lake, a children’s play area adjacent, with lovely countryside & forests surrounding the village. There is an epicerie, tabac, pizza van in the village & a bread van calls in summer.

SITE DESCRIPTION: A pleasant aire (well signposted) situated in a medium sized gravel car park on the eastern edge & near the centre of this large rural village. 10 individual level spaces on gravel separated by high hedges. Good views of the surrounding farmland with some shade & shops in the village. Artisanal service point with grey drainage platform. A very nice, quiet aire situated in the former municipal campsite which is fenced all round & several spaces are well shaded under trees. Aire is in a residential area with farmland to east, 10 min walk to village centre where there is a large selection of shops/ bars & restaurants plus a small Carrefour & market on Wednesdays. Swimming pool, lake with fishing & tennis @ 100m.

A nice semi-rural location next to the river, quiet with large shaded pitches on grass – soft when wet. Toilets cleaned daily but only open July & August. Good range of shops, eating places, Friday market & supermarkets in this ‘Small Town of Character’ with a medieval quarter, fortifications & silver mine.

REVIEW: A pleasant location next to the sports complex/ tennis courts, close to the village centre & quiet with large shaded pitches. Sanitary block well maintained but only open June- Sept., wifi variable. Shops in village (15 min walk via footpath), Tuesday market as well as an open-air swimming pool & a train station (trains to Lourdes or Tarbes).

SITE DESCRIPTION: Situated on the south side of the village, in the former municipal campsite next to a large lake, this aire is about 400m from the centre. There is shade available in places under trees, lighting, large pitches on grass or gravel. Modern AireServces service point with platform drain.
A very quiet position in a nice location, not far from pleasant village centre where there is just a boulangerie, pharmacy, bank & a Cocci superette. The aire is well maintained & next to a fishing lake, with tennis & petanque nearby.

SITE DESCRIPTION: This large private aire is located on the western edge of town, next to the Lac de Bourget, managed by the Campingcarpark company & is in the former municipal campsite in a residential area of the town with the lake to the west. Good shade & lit at night, access is via an automatic barrier operated by CCP card. It is not too close to the town centre (800m) & its shops, lying to the NW of the town centre. Euro-Relais service point with double drainage platform. Large hard standing or grass pitches, with tarmac access track, each with individual 6A ehu’s & wifi.
Quiet spot but not very handy for town centre, 100m from a large lake, 300m from the town leisure area & cinema. Large parking spaces (40m2) with shade under trees, 78 ehu’s for 86 spaces. Building with washing-up sinks on site but closed Nov – April. CampingcarPark membership card required. Aix les Bains is a nice spa town with watersports on lake, beach & has a good range of shops plus market.
