SITE DESCRIPTION: This ‘Camping Village’ aire, run by CampingCarPark, is situated in the former Municipal campsite, about 200m west of the village centre & next to the river Layon. Pitches are on gravel/ grass (most shaded), lit at night, each has 6A ehu & wifi with toilets (open 01/04-30/09). Artisanal service point with drainage platform. Access by automatic barrier, CCP card required.

 A pleasant location next to the river, close to the village centre & quiet with good shaded pitches but some low branches. Toilets cleaned daily but only open April- Sept. Grocer, cafe & bar in village as well as Anjou wine producers.

DIRECTIONS: In town follow “CAMPING DU ROUERGUE” signs to SOUTH WEST of town & AIRE.

SITE DESCRIPTION: The aire is located on the south west edge of the town, in part of the municipal campsite “Camping du Rouergue”, next to the town sports ground where there are ample shaded spaces on grass accessed by tarmac tracks. The pitches are separated by tall hedges, each with a water tap, ehu & wifi in certain areas. The service point is Flot Bleu with a large platform drain, access is via an automatic barrier.

REVIEW: A comfortable aire in a large section of the town campsite with good size (100m2) level pitches in a quiet, shaded location. Close to the Aveyron river & about 15 mins level walk from the town centre - a medieval bastide with cobbled streets & old houses, many having arcades at ground level. There is a 15th C church & a 17th C chapel together with a good selection of shops plus a market on Thursday mornings.

SITE DESCRIPTION: The aire is managed by CampingCarPark & is situated next to the river in a large grass parking area, 300m from the centre of the town. Most of the level spaces benefit from shade from the trees & all have 6A ehu’s & wifi. Access via automatic barrier, CCP card required. Euro-Relais service point with drainage platform, toilets, sinks & showers (only open July/ Aug).

A pleasant aire, quiet & shaded, with good modern facilities, play area, fishng, next to the Lot yet only a short walk into town where there are restaurants/ shops & an InterMarche supermarket. Near to Capdenac le Haut, an interesting fortified village with panoramic views, one of the “Most Beautiful Villages in France”.

SITE DESCRIPTION: The aire is sited in a former Municipal campsite on the west side of town, 400 m from the shops/ town centre. The parking is on grass opposite a large lake, there is good shade here, lit at night & a quiet location with an AireServices borne, drainage platform & ehu’s, access via automatic barrier with CCTV.

This place is handy as a stopping place if you want to visit the beaches (15 kms) & a nice spot to visit the Gulf de Morbihan, whilst there is also a 50 km cycle-path along a former railway line. Interesting historic town with 16th C market halls, good range of shops/ services & a large market.

SITE DESCRIPTION: The aire here is in the former Municipal campsite on the south side of Murat about 600m to the centre of town. There is good shade on many of the spaces here & public toilets/ showers are nearby (open 1/05 - 30/09). There is an Artisanal service point with platform drain, ehu’s & wifi as well as a play area, laundrette & recycling bins nearby. Access via automatic barrier, CCP card required.

Located in one of the most picturesque sites in the Cantal, this ‘Small Town of Character’ lies on the side of the valley with groups of lauze-roofed houses under the enormous Bonnevie Rock, which hangs over them. This rock is part of a set of three sharp volcanic spears lined up on either side of the town. Murat was fortified several times throughout its rich history; at least three successive walls protected the various quarters of the town.

A very nice town with a well-situated & clean CampingCarPark 'village' aire within easy walking distance of the town centre. Quiet rural spot with ample large grass or tarmac spaces next to the small river with walks nearby. Good range of shops/ eating places in town & an InterMarche near to aire.

SITE DESCRIPTION: The aire in Ste Eulalie is in a modern medium sized gravel car park on the northern outskirts of the village (400m from centre) where there are ample level spaces in an enclosed area controlled by an automatic barrier which is operated by a credit card machine. The aire has toilet/ handicapped & shower. There is good shade with grass areas & it is close to the ancient village centre. Flot Bleu service point with platform drain & ehu’s/ wifi for each space.

An excellent little aire in a lovely setting, quiet, well maintained & secure with a resident caretaker who lives adjacent. 16A hook-ups included in the rate as well as wifi & use of the toilets/showers. Aire is a short walk into village where there is a grocery shop, bar & restaurants in village. Beautiful little village with Knights Templar Commandery, church & remains of fortifications with walks/ cycle path nearby.

A quiet & clean aire close to the large artificial lake with a nice beach – fishing, swimming & boating allowed in season. There are 20 spaces with 20 ehu’s and wifi, the aire is convenient for the town, being 400m from the centre & 1.5km from the chateau. SITE DESCRIPTION: The Aire of the Month for February, 2020 is the large Aire located on the west bank of the Allier River just across from the city of Moulins in the Allier (03) department of the Auvergne. The aire is in the former municipal camping where there are numerous level pitches on grass accessed by tarmac tracks some shaded & some in the open, all lit at night. A Flot Bleu service point with a drainage platform & hook up points, jetons available from machine at entrance. Parking paid at automatic barrier on exit. This is an excellent & very popular aire, awarded “Aire of the Year 2014”, in the former municipal campsite where there are many quiet, pleasant pitches (most with ehu's) overlooking the Allier river yet only a short level walk across the bridge to the centre of Moulins where there are all the shops, services & eating places that you could need. 3 museums in town, an old “quarter” as well as the cathedral to visit. Aire is well signposted in town. Walks along river & cycle path. Local shops & InterMarche supermarket within 150m of aire.

The aire is run by CampingCarPark & is located in the former municipal campsite, within 500m of the little town centre where a small selection of shops can be found. The 16 individual pitches are on grass, bordered by hedges, accessed by a gravel track, with a little shade & lighting at night. Artisanal service point with drainage platform & wifi/ ehu's on each pitch.

This is a very good aire within the former Municipal Camping which is located on the west side of the town. Quiet spot with swimming pool adjacent. 16 large pitches each with ehu & wifi. Small range of shops & a restaurant in town. Large forest to the east of the town with walks, play area & picnic tables.

The aire is in a small gravel/ grass parking area, a former campsite, with 12 spaces, bordered by grass areas with good shade, lit at night & near to the river, about 150 m north of the large village centre of La Pommeraie. The village has a few shops & a restaurant. There is an artisanal borne with a platform drain, water & toilets.

         A nice basic aire with free services & parking, a short walk into the village & close to a fishing river. Quiet spot in a former municipal campsite next to a park area with picnic tables.

SITE DESCRIPTION: The Aire of the Month for November, 2019 is in Surzur, Morbihan (56) in Brittany & is also the Aire of the Year, 2019. It is in a nice location, a former municipal camping, which is 600m north of the town centre. Parking is in a large wooded area with good shade & lit at night, 17 of the pitches are on hard standing & 25 on grass with some larger spaces for long vehicles. Access is via automatic barrier. AireServices borne with platform drain, electric hook-ups, laundrette & rubbish bin.

     Very enjoyable place, quiet, well laid out & maintained with large spaces separated by hedges each with ehu & access to a free laundrette with tourist info. Close to the Gulf de Morbihan with a supermarket, boulangerie, pharmacy, butcher & Poste in town. Play area & sports ground within 200m. This aire was named Aire of the Year 2019 by CampingCar magazine - see video below (in French).
